Tools built for the organizations that run the African economy

Most organizations across Africa manage their people with tools that were never designed for them: spreadsheets, WhatsApp groups, paper registers, and legacy systems built for other markets. The result is lost time, compliance risk, and workforces that never quite see themselves in the tools their employers use.

WorqLynx exists to change that.

We build one integrated platform for the complete employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, attendance, payroll, performance, learning and development, and sales team management. Every module is built for African organizations, from the ground up, with statutory compliance and local context designed in — not bolted on.

Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder

Cyril Orora, CHRP-K

Cyril leads WorqLynx's vision, strategic direction, and go-to-market execution. A certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP-K) accredited by the Institute of Human Resource Management, Cyril has spent his career at the intersection of HR practice and HR technology, working with mid-market organizations across East Africa to modernize how they manage their people.

His mandate: build a platform African HR leaders can trust with the full lifecycle of their workforce.

Samuel Aballa

Samuel leads the engineering and product organization at WorqLynx. With over six years of experience in enterprise software architecture, scalable cloud systems, and applied artificial intelligence, Samuel is responsible for building a platform that is fast, secure, compliant, and continually intelligent.

His mandate: deliver enterprise-grade technology at mid-market pricing, with the kind of reliability African organizations deserve.

Our story

Why WorqLynx exists

WorqLynx was founded in 2025 in Nairobi by three professionals who had spent years watching African organizations struggle with the same problems: fragmented HR systems, statutory compliance headaches, payroll cycles that consumed the last week of every month, and workforce data that never told the whole story.

The realization that led to WorqLynx was simple. The tools existed. They just weren't built for us.

We set out to change that. Not by localizing a foreign platform. Not by patching a legacy system. By building something new, from the ground up, for the organizations that actually run the African economy.

That mission still guides us today.
